  • Fast Track Criteria
    Please note: the 'Fast Track' service can take up to 5 working days. Only applicants who qualify in their own right can be processed through 'Fast Track'. If submitting application with someone who does not qualify then your application will not to be accepted for 'Fast Track'. Where any applicant, be it in their own right or through 'Fast Track' services, is unable to provide evidence that they qualify for any of these criteria or are unwilling to submit their application with supporting documentation, they are not to be accepted for 'Fast Track'.

    1. Has travelled to (except transit) in the last 5 years, and has evidence:
      UK, Ireland, Schengen Country, Switzerland, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand and has complied with their conditions of entry; or
      Holds a valid visa issued in the last 3 months for one of these listed countries; and
      Their last application for any of these countries was not refused nor were they removed from a country on their last trip.

    2. A permanent resident of the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or a Schengen country.

    3. A diplomat and immediate family (spouse, children and parents) in the Philippine Foreign Service, or in a diplomatic mission in Philippines, travelling to the UK. Applications should be accompanied by an official note verbale from the MFA or the Mission as appropriate.

    4. A Philippine Government employee on official business (immediate family accompanying also). Applications must be accompanied by an MFA official note verbale.

    5. Seafarer intending to join a ship the UK. Must include required documentation listed on
      http://www.vfs-uk-ph.com/documents.aspx

    6. Seafarers travelling to UK for training with the Steiner organisation before joining ship or senior managerial level Maritime Officer (e.g. Captain, Chief Engineer, Chief Officer or 1st Assistant Engineer) going to the UK for training or briefing prior to joining ship in a third country.

    7. A student with full British Council sponsorship, a Chevening Scholar or any other UK Government full sponsorship. Evidence to be supplied.

    8. A returning resident with evidence of his/her current status in the UK. You must include copies of old passports (showing Indefinite Leave to Enter/Remain endorsement) or a letter from the Home Office showing that Indefinite Leave to Remain has been granted.

    9. A person with extant conditions which will still be valid on their return to the UK, who can show they have been in the UK within the past 3 months and is returning to the UK to complete this previous stay.

    10. DATV applications with evidence of appropriate onward ticketing from the UK and confirmation of acceptability to onward country. Photocopies to be supplied.
