  • Sole Representative of an overseas firm in the UK

    Please provide photocopies of all the documents you will be submitting:

    1. A completed visa application form: Employment Form (VAF2 OCT 2007). To complete the application form please go to the following link http://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk
    2. Your current passport with recommended validity of at least 6 months and any old passports.
    3. One recent coloured and unframed passport sized photos taken with a light background approximately 45mm X 35mm in size and glued not stapled onto the designated space for the picture in the application form.     4. Visa fee in pesos. Payable across the Bank counter or Manager’s Check (only from BPI, Banco de Oro, Metrobank & Standard Chartered bank) made payable to the British Embassy Manila.     5. Minister of Religion must have been working for at least one year as a minister of religion or where ordination is prescribed by a religious faith as the sole means of entering a ministry has been ordained as a minister of religion following at least one year full-time or two years part-time training for the ministry.
    6. A missionary must have been trained as a missionary or worked as a missionary and is being sent to the UK by an overseas organization.
    7. A member of a religious order must be coming to the UK to live in a community maintained by a religious order to which he/she is a member and if the member is intending to teach he/she can do so only at an establishment maintained by his/her order.
    8. Intend to work full-time as a minister of religion missionary or for the religious order for which you are a member; and
    9. Do not intend to take employment except within the terms stated above; and
    10. Be able to maintain and accommodate yourself and any dependants adequately without recourse to public funds.
    11. A letter from your employer in the UK giving details of your expected duties and the salary you will receive;
    12. A contract of employment (if you have one);
    13. Documentary evidence of any qualifications you have for the job and details of your past experience.
